In this blog I am going to share with you 3 tips on how to get motivated. When you are motivated you have more energy, you are more enthusiastic and you end up achieving more in your day. When you are in this state of mind, you will naturally push yourself to set and achieve bigger and better goals.

As you look around your office, do you see people who just have energy and enthusiasm for everything in their life? They always look happy, content and fullfilled. They always act in a driven way and people just like being around them? The reason for this is because they have natural energy which comes from within.

On the flip side, I bet you know some people that come in the the office in a slumped state. Their main achievement in their day is to complete their “To Do List”. In actual fact it is not their list, it is actually someone else’s list.

If we want to be successful in life, we must keep learning and we must keep growing. To enable us to keep learning we must understand our “WHY” and exactly what is our purpose is. As soon as we know what this is then it makes it very easy to focus and start knocking down goals and targets like tin cans at a fairground.

Tip 1
What is your “Why” ?

This is a life changing question, but Why do you do things and Why do you not do things. We must always be asking questions and be curious, this is how we learn. Technology has developed over the years because someone has always been there challenging the Status Quo and challenging the norm. All with a purpose to make things better and improve the worlds we live in.

The task for us here is to have a think personally about what our ultimate Why is? Is our Why to provide security for your family?, Do you want to build your business to a greater level? Do you want to give more back to the community? or Is it to help others less fortunate?

It is key that we find and understand our own Why, as this will help us direct our focus, direct our actions and as act as a reminder when the going gets tough.

Tip 2
Identify what you love doing.

When you act in your natural capacity, life is easy. We naturally feel uneasy outside of our comfort zone and this is where we can feel stressed and anxious. While it is good to be outside your comfort zone, this point is all about your natural, fall back, default state.

Reflect back to your childhood and try to remember what gave you so much joy then. Think of a time when life was easy, what were you doing?

My natural state when I was happy as a child was when I was “fixing stuff”, I loved helping my parents do things around the house and had a massive sense of achievement when completing as task.

This is why I started Innovate to Success, simply because my natural state is to fix things and to help other people.

Tip 3
Mix it all together and put it in a plan.

By this point we have a real clear understanding of our “Why” we do what we do and “What” we enjoy doing.  It is not realistic to think that we are going to be happy all of the time. However, we can start to make intelligent choices in what we do. When we enjoy the tasks we do, then these will naturally start to be ones that bring us fulfilment and also our biggest results.

The best way to do this is focus on what matters and plan out on a weekly basis. Plan both your business and personal goals and tasks that you want to complete in that week. Just a few at a time and make sure they are challenging and are fulfilling. It is also a good idea to have a few that relate to giving something back to either your community.

By balancing out your Business and Personal life means that this will prevent you from getting into overwhelm. This will help you stay on track and more likely to deliver on your plan.



It is pretty simple really. Find out what you are ultimately trying to achieve, then mix in a bit of passion and will-power. Then design your own planning system to keep you on track and help you focus and achieve your goals.
